I have this hand held TV that has become somewhat useless after the switch to digital. Is it hackable?

I got it from RadioShack it is pretty well defined by this page http://support.radioshack.com/support_video/doc71/71437.htm . Does any one know how the screen is controlled or what it would take to control it via mcu?

Does it have a composite video input? Or only an RF input?

With composite video you can add just about anything to it, from a NES to a DVD player. Or even a receiver for digital tv.

With RF you can still connect a NES but for modern stuff you'd need a RF Modulator, that takes a composite video signal and turns it into a mini TV station.

I guess this is my face palm moment. I didn't even think of just controlling the video and sound input....
