they don't seem big enough to fit resistors without bending them, or some of the bigger ICs
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I'd like to provide you with a link, but I can not seem to find them through Rubbermaid. I get them at Walmart in the tools section near the boxes of fasteners. Walmart.com is also coming up empty and I removed the labels, so I can not give you the information from it. You may also be able to find it as a tackle box in the fishing section.

M$I just recently finally solved this problem. The solution for me was Clip-A-Zip. http://www.amazon.com/Clip-Zip-Heavy-Duty-Bags/dp/B003AYBVDS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1283483339&sr=8-1
I have a ton of hanger space in my closet and it's a super simple solution. Any size baggie I need I just grab, clip, and hang it up.
You can also go to your local hardware store and buy cheap metal clamps (the 1" sizes) for $0.50 - $1 combined with a traditional hanger and hang up your stuff.
Hope this helps!

Yep I have no links but seconded on the fishing tackle box. Have a small collection of those for my electronics. Often the top/lid will be a compartmentalised tray to sort components, while the underneath section is bigger where you can stash half finished projects all in the one place. Each of my different electronics projects gets kept with all it's parts in an individual one of these. Also handy to have the odd soldering iron or set of wire strippers in there.
