whats the best wireless interface to stream low quality images + control a R/C car? home-made (433,868MHz etc)?bluetooth?Zigbee?
I plan on attaching a cheap CMOS camera module to a RC car to control the car from my laptop + get the image feed, whats the best wireless interface for the job? home-made interface (433,868MHz etc)?bluetooth?zigbee? looking for the cheapest solution that will give me the wireless throughput I need, distance isnt that important (20-30m would b great, non-line of sight) :) any1 done anything similar? Want to use it as a guard dog to check stuff out indoors and outdoors at home, so could have repeaters around the house if need be.

A cheap 2,4Ghz or 1,2Ghz cheap wireless camere coupled with a cheap camera-to-computer interface could be the cheapest.
And the hardware could be repurposed later for other projects.
If one does not want to play with that you could put a small router and a USB webcam on the R/C device, but it would need more power and would be heavier.
So on the weight budget the wireless camera is the best.
Both objects needed can be found for under 50USD on dealextrem incl. shipping.
